Clancy and Nora

Clancy and Nora's parents adopted them just 2 weeks after they'd lost their cat of many years. Clancy and Nora helped to heal their aching hearts. Four years later the littermates are still the light in their parent's eyes. "We can't imagine our lives without them. They are the best cats EVER! We love them to death and they are the best buddies together."

Minnie and Mustof

I recently moved to Nebraska and was looking for a furry (or not-so-furry) companion. After I went to a few shelters one of them asked me what I was looking for, on a whim I told them I had always been fascinated by sphynx cats. To my amazement they told me about the pet coalition and how they currently had two sphynx cats for adoption! I contacted them and within two weeks I was a foster mom to two of the best cats I could have asked for. The previous owner and I agreed that I would foster them for a month to make sure we were perfect for each other. A few days later I contacted her and told her I couldn't picture my life without them and they've been my best friends and babies ever since.

Faye

Faye was one of the many cats I helped take care of at a local pet store. Her brother was adopted, but no one wanted Faye. After walking her around the store, trying to find someone to show some interest in this sweet girl, I decided that if no one took her home at an upcoming adoption event, I would. She had been in a cage too long!!! Adoption weekend came and went and no one took her, so she came home with me. I sometimes think she wonders why it took me so long to bring her home as she knew all along that she belonged with me!

Stories like this make our time and effort worth it. We received this feedback recently.

"I just wanted to thank you for getting my cat Sassy into the vet for an emergency checkup. We called all three clinics open until 10 or later last night and they wouldn't do payments and had my applying for Care Credit and another card....I didn't qualify for either and so they would not see him. He ended up licking off the fur and revealing a bite Mark? Or scratch and an open sore with visible tissue. It turned out this stray that adopted us had Cellulitis, worms, ear mites, fleas, and has now been fully vaccinated and is being treated with antibiotics. Thank you for saving his life."
